Knowledge is infinate. Not one person in the world knows everything about everything. New theories are being discovered all the time and old theories are written off.The brand mark reflects this idea.  It is constantly moving and evolving, expanding, contracting and morphing into new shapes. The lines are like brain waves with the intersection of ideas where the lines meet. Although the shapes are random, they are always a variant of the symbol for infinity, with Britannica always at the centre. The logotype is the only real constant and is the only part of the identity that is locked in place, with the shapes moving behind it. The colour palette is also one that is constantly shifting from one spectrum of colour to the other, symbolising the freedom of debate and the differances of opinion. Designed to be on the screen, the identity will move on all platforms.
